Smithhaven was a bust. Hoping to avoid having to drive out to Riverhead I went to the Ann Taylor store in the mall, they won’t accept a return from something bought from the outlet factory. How annoying. Then I realized that I forgot my gift cards at home so my hopes of buying a jacket were also thrown out the window. To make myself feel better I went over to check out the shoes at DSW, but I didn’t see anything that I was crazy over. Kind of disappointed. Aaron sent me a txt trying to convince me to hit up 212 but since I was there yesterday and I’d have to wait for my next pay check to come before I can even consider a trip in, it’s basically not happening. I also think I’m getting sick. Take that back, I know I’m getting sick. I have a stuffy nose and my throat is starting to bother me. When my throat starts acting up, I know I’m in trouble. The only things that seemed to work out nicely today was grocery shopping (ran into Jimmy and got play catch up, which was nice), ran to the post office (been forgetting to go for how long again?? I can’t remember…) and picked up some wine at the packy store (that’s a CT term!). Guess today was somewhat productive.

Wine! That’s my newest thing. I like wine, I like trying out different types of wine. Lately the new thing for me when I’m hanging out with some peeps is to watch a movie and try out some new wine. So far all experiences have been at least entertaining (unfortunately not all of the bottles I would want again…) and I have made some nice little discoveries on what I like (a little surprised by some of the results but it’s all good).
